SPECIAL YEAR-END MEETING December 22, 2010
Call to Order
Supervisor Crane called a year-end meeting of the Huron Town Board to order on December 22, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.
Flag Salute
Supervisor Crane led the flag salute.
Roll Call
The following Board members were present: Supervisor Laurie Crane, Councilmember
David Buisch, Councilmember Lois Buckalew , Councilmember Alan Traister.and Councilmember Russell Teeple.
Welcome
Supervisor Crane welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming.
Paychex Handbook
The committee for the Paychex Handbook will meet on January 13, 2011 at 9:00 a.m.
RESOLUTION #143-2010
BAS IT
On motion of Councilmember Buisch, seconded by Councilmember Buckalew the following resolution was ADOPTED - AYES 5 NAYS 0.
RESOLVED, to move ahead with BAS IT Services and to be paid out of the 2010 Budget at a cost of $4,640.00.
RESOLUTION #144-2010
Permission to Purchase Computer
On motion of Councilmember Buisch, seconded by Councilmember Teeple the following resolution was ADOPTED - AYES 5 NAYS 0.
RESOLVED, to approve the purchase of a new desktop for Building Inspector Gallant.
Census Results
Supervisor Crane has received the results of the census. The Town of Huron went from 2117-2035, which is down 3.9%. Wayne Co. went from 93,765-91,291, which is down 2.6%. The weighted vote will also change at the county.
Justice Books
Councilmember Buckalew and Councilmember Traister have completed the audit of the justice books and a report was given to the Town Clerk to file.

Councilmember Traister moved, seconded by Councilmember Teeple to adjourn at 5:18 p.m.
