Special Meeting on March 2, 2011
Supervisor Laurie Crane called a special meeting of the Huron Town Board to order on March 2, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.

The following members were present: Councilmember David Buisch, Lois Buckalew, Russell Teeple and Supervisor Laurie Crane. Councilmember Alan Traister was absent

RESOLUTION #22 -2011
Amend Water District #5 Bond Resolution
UPON MOTION OF COUNCILPERSON BUCKALEW, SECONDED BY COUNCILPERSON BUISCH, IT IS UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Town of Huron has created Water District No. 5 (the "District") to supply water to properties within the District; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has retained Timothy R. McGill, Esq. ("Bond Counsel") to provide bond counsel services for the financing of the District; and
WHEREAS, Bond Counsel submitted a proposed amended fee agreement letter to the Town on February 12, 2008 which contained a "not to exceed" amount of $4,800.00 based on the anticipated issuance of one note and then permanent financing for the District; and
WHEREAS, the plan of financing for the District has changed since that time, requiring the issuance of two notes; and
WHEREAS, Bond Counsel submitted a supplemental proposed fee letter to the Town on February 14, 2011 requesting that the "not to exceed" fee be increased to $5,800.00 due to the change in financing mechanisms; and
NOW THEREFORE IT IS RESOLVED the Town Board approves the amended fee agreement letter with the increase in the "not to exceed" fee for Bond Counsel for the District to $5,800.00; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Town Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the United States Department of Agriculture.
RESOLUTION #23-2011
Permission to Purchase Tractor
On motion of Councilmember Teeple, seconded by Councilmember Buisch the following resolution was ADOPTED - AYES 4 NAYS 0.
RESOLVED, to allow Highway Superintendent Bush to purchase Tractor to not to exceed the budgeted amount.
Building Addition Quotes
Discussion was had on the Quotes that we received for the Building Addition. Building Inspector Gallant will ask that the roof be taken out of the quote and we will see where we are at.
This will be revisited at a later time.

Councilmember Teeple moved, seconded by Councilmember Buisch to adjourn at 5:43 p.m. All in favor of this motion.
