Special Meeting September 27, 2011
Call to Order
Supervisor Laurie Crane called a special meeting of the Huron Town Board to order on September 27, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
Flag Salute
The flag salute was not observed for reason of the unavailability of the meeting room.
Roll Call
The following members were present: Councilmember David Buisch, Lois Buckalew, Russell Teeple, Councilmember Alan Traister and Supervisor Laurie Crane.
Welcome
Supervisor Crane welcomed everyone.
Resignation of Kathy Grandjean (Planning and Zoning Clerk)
Councilmember Buckalew moved, seconded by Councilmember Teeple to accept the resignation of Planning and Zoning Clerk Kathy Grandjean with regrets. All in favor of this motion.
RESOLUTION #101-2011
Advertise for Clerk to Planning/Zoning
On motion of Councilmember Buckalew, seconded by Councilmember Teeple the following resolution was ADOPTED - AYES 5 NAYS 0.
RESOLVED, to advertise for the position in the Times of Wayne County, Wayuga Shopper and the Sodus/Williamson Shopper for two weeks and we will accept applications until October 17, 2011.
Work on Tentative Budget
The Town Board worked on the 2012 Tentative Budget.
The Town Board will hold a Preliminary Budget Public Hearing on November 3, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
Adjournment
Councilmember Teeple moved, seconded by Councilmember Traister to adjourn at 10:16 p.m. All in favor of this motion.
