Call to Order
Supervisor Crane called a year-end meeting of the Huron Town Board to order on December 17, 2012 at 9:26 p.m.
Flag Salute
Supervisor Crane led the flag salute.
Roll Call
The following Board members were present: Supervisor Laurie Crane, Councilmember
David Buisch, Councilmember Lois Buckalew, Councilmember Alan Traister.
Councilmember Russell Teeple was absent.
Welcome
Supervisor Crane welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming.
Executive Session
Councilmember Traister moved, seconded by Councilmember Buisch to go into executive session for personnel at 9:27 p.m.
Out of Executive Session
Councilmember Traister moved, seconded by Councilmember Traister to come out of executive session at 9:45 p.m.
Appointments for 2013
The Town Board would like to proceed with the following appointments with the exception of Clerk to Justice Karen Powell, Clerk to Building Inspector Donna Traister and Zoning Board Member and Vice Chair Brandon Furber.

On motion of Councilmember Buisch, seconded by Councilmember Traister the following resolution was ADOPTED - VOTE - AYES 3 NAYS 1. Councilmember Traister abstained.

RESOLVED, to appoint Donna Traister as Clerk to Building Inspector.
RESOLUTION #176-2012
Zoning Board Member/Vice Chairperson
On motion of Councilmember Buisch, seconded by Supervisor Crane the following resolution was DEFEATED - AYES 2 NAYS 2. Councilmember Buckalew and Traister voted nay.
RESOLVED, to appoint Brandon Furber as Zoning Board Member and Vice Chairperson.
Clerk to Justice
The appointment of Clerk to Justice for the part time hours has been deferred until the January 7, 2013 Organizational Meeting

Councilmember Buisch moved, seconded by Councilmember Buckalew to adjourn at 9:54 p.m.
