Call to Order
Regular Meeting of the Huron Town Board was called to order by Supervisor Philip Eygnor at the Huron Town Hall on March 15, 2021 at 6:00 pm.

Flag Salute was led by Supervisor Philip Eygnor.
Roll Call
Upon roll call the following members were present: Supervisor Philip Eygnor, Councilmembers’ Russell Teeple, Richard Reyn and David Buisch. Councilmember Bob Cahoon was absent.

#1 The proposed Local Law #1 of 2021 is the Battery Law.
RESOLUTION #43-2021
Records Clerk Computer
On motion of Councilmember Teeple, seconded by Councilmember Buisch the following was ADOPTED-AYES 4 NAYS 0.
RESOLVED, to approve the purchase of a refurbished unit for the Records Clerk at a cost of $610.00 plus the Microsoft Office 2016-2019 license at a cost of around $180.00.

Councilmember Teeple
Water: Nothing new to Report.
Port Bay Sewers: Clean-up will begin in the Spring.
Highway: The Highway Department is sweeping roads and servicing equipment. The 2015 truck was sold an amount just shy of $27,000.00.
Councilmember Cahoon (Absent)
Nothing to Report.
Councilmember Reyn
Town Insurance: Councilmember Reyn reported the cost of Town Insurance has increased, as with everything else. The broker highly recommends adding Cyber Security coverage; echoed by the Town Attorney who suggested the Town inquire about a rate reduction for having a Cyber Security Policy. Town Clerk will check with them.
RESOLUTION #44-2021
Approval of Town Insurance Policy
On motion of Councilmember Teeple, seconded by Councilmember Buisch the following was ADOPTED-AYES 4 NAYS 0.
RESOLVED, to approve the 2021-2022 Town Insurance rate and adding coverage for Data Compromise and Cyber Security pending further research.

Building Inspector Report: Councilmember Reyn moved, seconded by Councilmember Buisch to receive and file the February 2021 Building Inspector Monthly Fee report. Motion Carried.
Building Inspector Gallant has filed his 1203 State Building Code Report and the CEHA (Coastal Erosion Hazard Area) report.

Supervisor Eygnor
Town Clerks Monthly Report: Councilmember Teeple moved, seconded by Councilmember Buisch to approve the February 2021 monthly report of the Town Clerk.
Town Board Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Buisch moved, seconded by Supervisor Eygnor to approve the February 2, 2021 and February 16, 2021 Regular Meeting Minutes. All in favor.
Supervisor’s February Monthly Report: Councilmember Buisch moved, seconded by Councilmember Teeple to receive and file the January 2021 Monthly report of the Supervisor. Motion Carried.
Supervisor Reported on the following:
• Supervisor Eygnor moved, seconded by Councilmember Teeple to have the letter from John & Regina Kelich entered into record. Letter attached to these minutes.
• Supervisor Eygnor working on the County Police Reform Committee, reported they are progress fine tuning policies to make the citizens feel more at ease.
• Work on the Bicentennial Float is progressing. The celebration will begin in 2023 but the float will be available for parades and farmers markets this year.
• Working on the Fire and Emergency Management as well.
• There was a water leak at the Town Hall today due to deterioration of the copper tubing. It has been fixed but will need to make some changes in the future.
Attorney Kendall
Cyber Security: Awaiting the IT review of the Policy.
Battery Storage Law: We are waiting on review by County Planning and the Town Planning Board. Councilmember Buisch will contact the Planning board members for their individual comments.

On motion of Councilmember Reyn, seconded by Councilmember Buisch the following was ADOPTED-AYES 4 NAYS 0.
RESOLVED, to approve the following transfers:
